Chinese students and scholars in the U.S. are being targeted with arrests, visa revocations, and surveillance under false claims of national security. Two researchers at the University of Michigan have been caught in this crackdown, facing exaggerated charges simply because they are Chinese. By refusing to speak out, the University becomes complicit in this injustice and in the growing campaign of fear and hostility that pushes the U.S. closer to war with China.
