(Retired) Col. Ann Wright gave an amazing interview to Laura Flanders on GRITtv this morning, describing her trip to Gaza last week with Medea Benjamin and LA activist Tighe Barry. She discusses waiting on the Egyptian border with engineers and doctors, meeting with aid groups there and witnessing the damage and the devastating effect of Israel's blockade. She also discussed the several hundred tunnels from Egypt to Gaza still left intact, even though they all could have easily been destroyed. And she does it all quite sassily and smartly.
