In December 2024, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya was illegally abducted by the Israeli military during the raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital. It was recently reported that Dr. Abu Safiya was being brutally beaten and when his lawyers last spoke with him, he said he believed he was in imminent danger of being killed.
We have been asking the American Medical Association to speak up for their colleague in Palestine for months now, their time to do the right thing is running out. If they speak up, if they use every tool at their disposal, they could save his life.
