Ever held a grudge?

Or decided that someone has done something that you can never forgive?

Maybe it’s yourself that you refuse to excuse for a past transgression or mistake.

Today, explore the self-harm that is done, the violence enacted on ourselves when we do not forgive ourselves, our family, friends ... people who have not thought about us in over a hundred years, but we haven’t forgiven them.

Explore what the release of this violence, the release of this dis-ease and the pain it causes will feel like.

Thank them or yourself, in writing, for lessons imparted. If you don’t believe in this, just pretend you do.

Try fakin’ it ‘til you make it.

It can’t hurt.

Thank them for the lessons and think about what those lessons were/are in your life. This may ease heartbreak. It may ease stress.

Maybe it’s not a person but a situation, or something that happened that you can’t understand or move beyond.

The step beyond this is gratitude.

Did this help you move beyond the hurt?

💖 Love and Respect,
Kelly & Jodie
