Join CODEPINK Inland Empire in holding a collective liberation rally and screening the film, "Soundtrack to a Coup D'Etat"- a film that that illuminates the political machinations behind the 1961 assassination of Congo’s leader Patrice Lumumba. We want to bring awareness to the genocide that is happening in the Congo.
The rally will be held at Euclid & Holt at noon, and we will walk over to Casa Pitzer at 2:00 to watch the film at Casa Pitzer.
There is a $10 donation request for screening- but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Some light snacks will be available, feel free to bring something to share with the community. There is also a large parking lot on S Laurel and W Emporia St
