Ann Wright arrested at Pompeo Confirmation Hearing

On April 12, 2018, former head of the CIA and war hawk Mike Pompeo faced the Senate Foreign Relations Committee as President Trump's nominee for Secretary of State. CODEPINK was there at the confirmation hearing as the Pink Police to say 'STOP POMPEO!' As the former CIA director with no diplomacy skills, Pompeo is absolutely the wrong choice for Secretary of State. Veteran and former U.S. Diplomat, Ann Wright, stood up during Pompeo's hearing to call him out for his lack of skill and war mongering. She was arrested by police officers at Capitol Hill for her disruption of the hearing.
