The 2006 death of 14 year old Abeer Qassim Hamza al-Janabi was shrouded in mystery due to a deeply corrupt military cover up. Dedicated journalists (like those at Women's Media Center) have helped to keep this story and Abeer's memory alive--read the latest here. As the last man accused stands trial, we learn more about what happened that day and drop deeper down the rabbit hole that is the state of some of our troops in Iraq today.
