On Monday, December 13, the CODEPINK team gathered with local peace activists in the Eugene, OR area to connect and discuss strategies for the next year of peace and justice work.
We enjoyed local food and drink, met folks we had previously only talked with on Zoom, and were joined by special guest Doyle Canning. During a week when the Senate voted 89-11 to approve an unconscionable $778 billion Pentagon budget, it was especially heartening to connect with this vibrant local peace movement, share some laughs, and discuss new tactics for sowing peace and justice together.
