This week, the House is set to vote on the infrastructure bill, yet the Progressive Caucus has confirmed they will not vote unless the reconciliation bill is also voted on. Capital Hill is buzzing and yet the politicians know how much money easily gets passed to fund the pentagon yet so much of the public does not. While lobbyists knock down the doors of corporate-backed politicians, we set out around neighborhoods in Capital Hill to fill community libraries with political education around what the pentagon budget funds and where that money could go instead.
