We attended a happy hour put on by intelligence and “defense” contractors in Washington D.C. Having conversations with folks in the room, it was clear that artificial intelligence, surveillance, and “defense” contractors will continue to make profits and use U.S. taxpayer dollars even for programs that recruiters admitted repeatedly “don’t work.”
