On Thursday, December 9th the California Chapter of World Beyond War hosted a Congressional Call-In Party with CODEPINK Co-Director Carley Towne.
At the event, participants learned more about the enormous Pentagon budget and discussed how to call their Senators to demand they vote NO on the $768 billion Pentagon budget. After their discussion, the group took action together, calling Senators Feinstein and Padilla to vote NO on the NDAA.
While war profiteers have the money and lobbyists, we have the people power. Volunteer groups are meeting in-person or on zoom around the country to call and write to their Congressional delegation to vote NO on the $778 Pentagon budget and instead invest in our communities!
