After the U.S. announced that it is cutting funding to UNRWA, the largest provider of aid in Gaza, we are demanding answers.
UNRWA is the lifeline for Palestinian refugees in Gaza, as well as in the West Bank, Jerusalem, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. With the people of Gaza already facing mass starvation due to the Israeli blockade, defunding UNRWA would drastically limit capacity for aid delivery there. Israel and the U.S. must comply with the International Court of Justice's order to ensure that necessary aid is delivered, but only UNRWA can ensure this.
