Free Assange!
Assange’s father and brother will meet with activists, press, and policymakers to raise awareness of the importance of protecting whistleblowers and journalists, and to advocate for the release of Julian Assange, whom the United Nations has declared “arbitrarily detained” since 2010.
Saturday's event will be joined by Julian Assange's father and brother, John and Gabriel Shipton, Alice Walker, Dan Ellsberg, Noam Chomsky, Mumia Abu-Jamal, Dennis Bernstein and more! Admission at the door will be $10-$20 sliding scale. No one will be turned away. Wheelchair accessible with advanced notice. Masks and social distancing observed.
