A Day of Remembrance for Hiroshima and Nagasaki begins at 6:30 pm at Howland Plaza on 1st and Madison in Corvallis on Saturday, August 5th, featuring a photo exhibit, paper crane folding, and koto music. The program starts at 7- culminates at dusk with a traditional candlelight procession to the Van Buren Bridge as the lantern-lit Peace Flotilla passes beneath us.
