CODEPINK, in collaboration with #GameOverIsrael, has sent two personal appeals to Aleksander Čeferin, the president of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), and to his wife, Barbara Čeferin, urging them to take the necessary steps to suspend Israel from European football. Israel being boycotted from the world's most-watched sport would be a monumental stride in the Palestinian solidarity movement, and a huge show of accountability for the genocide it is committing in Gaza.
