Bad Bunny has always stood for la gente, for Puerto Rico, for dignity, for those pushed to the margins. We’re inviting him to stand with immigrant communities now, too.
Join us in asking Bad Bunny to take a stand: No más vuelos de deportación. No more deportation flights. Add your name to urge Bad Bunny to drop GlobalX and stand with immigrant communities.
Dear Benito (Bad Bunny),
We write to you with deep respect and admiration for the powerful ways you have uplifted the voice of our community through your art, activism, and platform. You have consistently shown love for Puerto Rico, for Latinx people, and for justice – and we are grateful for that.
That’s why we’re reaching out today with an urgent and heartfelt request.
It has come to our attention that GlobalX, a charter airline recently linked to your tour logistics, has also been contracted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to carry out deportation flights, removing people from their homes, families, and communities, often under inhumane conditions.
We know you care deeply about your people and don’t turn away from injustice. That’s why we wanted to share what we’ve learned and offer a way for you to engage even more deeply with the values you already live and lift up.
Like you, we are heartbroken and frustrated by the way migrants are treated, especially Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Caribbean communities. We don’t know if you’ve seen this connection to GlobalX, but we’ve been organizing around it, and we found a way forward that you might want to be part of.
As President Donald Trump ramps up mass deportations across the country, these flights are part of a violent and expanding system, tearing families apart and targeting the very communities you’ve always stood with. Companies like GlobalX are profiting off that suffering. Choosing not to work with them and publicly encouraging others to avoid companies that support deportations, would be a powerful statement. It’s a chance to show, once again, that your platform is a space for love, protection, and dignity.
We’re here to support you in whatever way we can. And we know, like us, you care about this.
We aren’t calling you out. We’re calling you in, because we believe in your leadership, your heart, and your power to inspire change. Thank you for standing with immigrant communities and for choosing not to work with companies that profit from their pain.
Un fuerte abrazo
