Global Crossing Airlines: Stop Deporting Venezuelans For Trump’s Racist Agenda

Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is profiting from President Trump's unlawful and racist mass deportations of Venezuelans, flying them to El Salvador into indefinite imprisonment in President Bukele’s brutal mega-prisons. Instead of connecting neighbors and opening pathways, GlobalX is serving Trump’s agenda, operating deportation flights that enable his assault on migrants’ freedom and dignity.

Tell Global Crossing Airlines: Stop working for Trump’s illegal deportation machine!

Global Crossing Airlines:

We are writing as concerned citizens outraged by the role Global Crossing Airlines is playing in Trump’s unlawful and politically motivated mass deportation scheme. Planes operated by GlobalX have been used to forcibly remove Venezuelan migrants under the Alien Enemies Act, an outdated, racist law that recalls some of the darkest chapters in U.S. history.

On March 16, 2025, a GlobalX-operated flight transported Venezuelans to El Salvador, where they are now being imprisoned under a $6 million U.S.-funded deal with President Nayib Bukele. Some of these deportees have no criminal records, yet they are being sent into a prison system notorious for horrible conditions, torture, and deaths in state custody. Even after a federal judge ordered deportation planes to turn around, GlobalX chose to keep running these flights, making the airline complicit in human rights violations and the trampling of the rule of law.

Trump’s border czar has openly admitted that he does not care about the legality or morality of these actions (The Hill). GlobalX has a choice: Be a good neighbor to Latin America, or be remembered as Trump’s deportation airline.

As an airline that serves Latin America, GlobalX has a responsibility to be a good neighbor by strengthening communities, not  tearing them apart. Being a good neighbor means respecting the rights and dignity of the people who have long relied on your services, not profiting from their suffering.

We call on Global Crossing Airlines to immediately cease all involvement in ICE deportation flights, publicly commit to refusing contracts that enable human rights abuses, and choose to be an airline that connects people rather than one that profits from their suffering.

Sincerely,
