Be a citizen diplomat and join CODEPINK in planning future trips around the world! We will be on the ground, building people-to-people ties in conflict regions and government-sanctioned countries.

Please complete the following survey, it only has 2 questions!

Tell us where you'd like to travel and why?

You can select any conflict region and/or government-sanctioned country that you think would benefit from people-to-people citizen diplomacy.

Q: Tell us where you'd like to travel and why?
A: My name is Brenda Schouten Beckett and I process posts and informative videos on Google+, Facebook and Twitter.

Your organization was recommended to me by David William Pence, who is a writer and editor of OpEdNews.

I intend to visit Cuba in May of 2018. I will be traveling with a friend who is a Dutch citizen originally from Morocco. She is a school teacher and only has two weeks vacation. I am a retired registered nurse and may stay on a week or two longer if I can arrange it. I have a United States passport although I have lived in the Netherlands for 25 years. I was married to a Dutch national but stayed here because people were very kind to me when my husband was dying. I am trying to get dual nationality so I will not have to travel to Cuba with an American passport. If I can get a Dutch passport without losing my Social Security earned benefits, I will do it. I do not intend ever again to visit the United States. I have been pretty clear on social media about what I think of the direction my country has taken with regard to the abolition of any kind of pretense at democracy as evidenced by the recent election debacle.
Will there be a group going to Cuba next year in May? I speak fairly fluent Spanish although I have had fewer chances to use this language here in the Netherlands.

Q: Tell us where you'd like to travel and why?
A: Israel/Palestine because there is so much conflict there and while people-to-people citizen diplomacy may not solve everything, it may help the situation there be less hostile

Q: Tell us where you'd like to travel and why?
A: I would love to travel to Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, North Korea, any number of conflict regions. I missed the earlier announcement of the Iran mission….would like to be considered for the next one. I have been to two regions considered “iffy” in the mainstream; Palestine (2015) and Cuba (2008/9/12) with church groups.
