MOTHER’S DAY BRIDGE WALK SCHEDULE - PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MIN. EARLY - LIMITED PARKING!
11:45am: Gather in the Welcome Plaza at the SF end of the eastern walkway of the Golden Gate Bridge. Arrive at least 30 min. early due to limited parking. The “authorities” close off the nearby parking areas when they know we are coming!
12-12:30pm: Public reading of Julia Ward Howe’s Mother’s Day Proclamation & Flashmob Dance:  War, What Is It Good For? Absolutely Nothing!
12:30-1:30pm: Walk on the eastern walkway from the SF side to the middle of the bridge for a short standing vigil: We will hold signs spaced for motorists and pedestrians to view, then return to Plaza.
1:30-2:00pm:  Re-Reading of Mother’s Day Proclamation. SHORT RALLY in the Plaza on SF side: Speakers, Poetry, Music.
2:00pm: Post-Rally Celebration for a Shared Vision for Global Peace & a Free Palestine! Please bring finger food to share if you can.
BE GREEN AND CARPOOL! See here for public transit options. Golden Gate Transit Buses 10, 70, 80 and SF Muni Bus 28 stop at the bridge (SF side).
