After thousands of Hondurans protested last week to demand the resignation of Juan Orlando Hernández and the strong repression led by Canadian and US-trained security forces, international solidarity and international presence are more important than ever!
Join our Emergency Delegation to Honduras! During this delegation, we will focus on the political repression that followed the Honduran fraudulent elections of 2017, the victims of state violence, and political prisoners. We will meet with Honduran organizations and the people who are in the frontlines of the resistance. We will gather information and testimonies to hold US and Canadian officials accountable for their role in the human rights crisis increased in Honduras after the 2009 coup and for their support for Juan Orlando Hernández government.
Respond to the urgent call for accompaniment. In the past, our delegations to Honduras, for example, have stopped an illegal eviction of a peasant cooperative in Rigores, accompanied cooperatives under threat of violence in the Aguan Valley, and exposed fraud in the presidential election. Cuba: Celebration of the Arts (Biennial) on the 500 Anniversary of Havana, April 12–19, 2019

The Biennial of Havana is the foremost arts event in the city. Galleries, art schools, cultural places, and any space of daily life and even the human body itself can be turned into a living arts scenario.
The first Biennial was held in 1986 and today, it brings together artists from around the world. This year will be a special one because it coincides with the 500th anniversary of the city of Havana. This homage to Havana will, through arts, highlight a city rich in history and teeming with a cultural mix and a people who live arts and creativity in their very souls. You will also have an opportunity to learn about the Cuba daily life, and visit Las Terrazas, a biosphere reserve in the province of Pinar del Rio, and the Cuban home of renowned writer Ernest Hemingway in the lovely fishing village of Cojimar.
This trip will be organized by our CODEPINK partners in Cuba called ProximtyCuba. With the Trump administration rolling back the historic opening with Cuba that the Obama administration championed, just traveling to Cuba is an act of solidarity with the call for normal trade and diplomatic relations with our island neighbor. (Traveling to Cuba for educational purposes with a licensed travel provider, as we do, is one of the few legal ways to visit Cuba.)

We are deeply concerned by the U.S administration building a case for war with Iran. So we’ve decided to put together a group of activists, artists, journalists and other professionals to go on a trip to Iran that will help bring together our two nations from a place of hostility and military threats to a place of mutual respect and peace for one another. Don’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime where we will explore the beautiful Iranian culture and practice mutual understanding to bring our two countries together.

- Tehran's famous Sa'dabad Palace (summer residence of the Qajar Dynasty) and Golestan Palace.
- Learn about Islam as practiced in Iran. Meet with religious leaders and scholars
