Join CODEPINK NYC for the next monthly Pop-Up for Liberation! This is a free community event and fundraiser for Gaza Soup Kitchen and MECA. This event combines art, music, culture, and political education to connect the dots between multiple parallel struggles against western imperialism with the goals of community building and collective liberation.
We will have poetry, musical performances by the Palestinian Youth Choir and Canteen Killa among other local artists, live painting, art vendors, a political education panel about how media and censorship are used to advance Western imperialist goals, and a teach-in on media literacy.
