No more lies and No more wars. The world including Americans cannot shed another drop of blood. We are still at war in 7 countries and we will bankrupt the economy if the president carries out this insane policy of the week ,. (last week was Venezuela). Only the congress can and must stop him.

It is absurd that the U.S. is provoking war with the peaceful sovereign country of Iran, on behalf of Apartheid Israel; as the Nuclear arsenal at Dimona is the real threat to the Middle East.
No more regime change wars for oil!

Iran is a civilization that dates back to thousand of years, unlike the USA which is about 243 years, and is located on Turtle Island, later renamed the Americas. Turtle Island was the name used by First Nations or Aboriginals, the original inhabitants. The USA in its short life, has had numerous wars with other countries, its time for the USA to promote PEACE.

    IRAN – Contributions to Civilization
“In Iran, the Silk Road was of special importance. Considering the role of silk in ancient times, it can be said that the history of Iran and the Silk Road were intertwined. The Silk Road connected old centers of Iranian civilization that were located along the route. The trade and cultural exchange between the two great countries of Iran and China were carried out via the Silk Road.”

“Iran made great contributions to the booming of silk trade and to the exportation of this commodity to the West. During the Parthian era, the Silk Road was still an important route for the exchange of commodities between various countries. Some steps were taken to repair and expand the Silk Road during the reign of the Parthian Emperor Mehrdad II, the Great. "

“In this period Iran signed the first trade agreement with China, which was under the rule of the Huns. Chang Ki Yen was the head of a 100-man delegation that visited Iran. In his account of his travel to Iran, he gave some very interesting information about life in the Parthian Empire.”

“According to the Chinese envoy, there were clever businessmen in Iran who made silk and shining paints. In the year 97 CE another ambassador named Kam Ying was dispatched to Iran by the famous Chinese warrior Pan Chao. Following him, another ambassador came to Iran who wrote, “the Romans intend to enter into silk trade with China via Iran but the Parthians are reluctant to let them do so. They themselves want to be the intermediary in China’s silk business.”

“Iran, as a country located between China and Europe, played a key role in connecting various cultures and civilizations that existed along the Silk Road. After so many centuries, the road still invites all governments along its course to expand their ties and revive their old culture and civilization.”

Thank you for my email, This Iran crisis has me seriously worried; although the whole world seems to be moving towards anarchy. I believe the US Gov is following the same path as in the war with Iraq. Both the US and UK are deep in debt; and both have politicians who want to spend vast fortunes on weapons and ability to make war.

“A number of trading routes, connecting Europe to China are called the Silk Road, although the term is fairly new. These long distance trades were taking place since 1st century B.C till the 15th century A.D. Besides the Silk Road, there are other famous routes such as Spice route, where both China and India were the main destinations. Cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, pepper and turmeric, along with ancient medicines were transported on the spice routes.”

“Do you know what Iran was doing at the time?
Iran, or so-called Great Persia at the time, was a major actor in the trading route. Silk fabrics were also made in Iran, so Persians would get the material such as silk from the east, and sell the finished product to the westerners. In fact, only quite a few merchants would travel all the way from the Mediterranean to China and get back. The journey would be about 7000 km (4000 miles), and there were many hazards and dangers on the way. Many of them would travel short distances to the next market and exchange their goods and go back. That is why Iran’s location was substantial on the trade routes.”

I am outside of the United States, but campaign towards the US and UK Governments regarding these issues. The UK Gov are in real terms under the control of the United States anyway. In the UK there has been very little news about Venezuela, and what little there as been was very pro regime change. Sanctions were never mentioned and all blame regarding financial matters was said to be because of government corruption.

Say no to war with Iran being they are no actually threat to the US. Also reenact the nuclear treaty. It’s time to stop the madness of perpetual war before it’s too late. This action would perpetrate World War 3 or is that what you want? Please stand up to the war hawks for the sake of all humanity.

I am a voting constituent of yours and a donor as well. You have represented my issues fairly all during your term of office. I feel that it is critical that this administration not be allowed to lead us into yet another Middle East War Disaster. For an entirely bogus set of threats and behaviors, most of which our ‘allies’ (Saudi Arabia, Israel, the Gulf States), practice frequently and aggressively. Bolton, et al, have an obsession with Iran that verges on the hysterical. Please stop them from this cruel debacle.
I have lived and worked in Iran, my husband is Iranian, we are both agnostic, and do not feel that Religious Governments serve the needs of the people well, including those of Iran. We would like to see a secular government, but having lived through many changes/revolutionary times, it seems clear to me that overturning governments is a very dangerous business for which the US is singularly unprepared to deal. The disastrous aftermaths of our attempt to impose ‘democracy’ in country after country has left the Middle East in a shambles. Tyrannical governments are awful, chaos is even worse and more difficult to manage toward positive governance.
Do not let these reckless war hawks drag us into another illegal invasion of a sovereign nation.
We are destroying any trace that remains of what the US used to stand for in the world and the good will it brought.

“Just for an example of the challenge the Trump administration faces in isolating Iran economically, Iranian trade with Denmark grew 11% in 2017, but the kicker is that Iranian exports to Denmark grew nearly 38%, giving Iran a highly favorable balance of payments. Denmark is hardly Venezuela. It is a conservative, small northern European country that belongs to NATO. But like much of Europe it has embraced the 2015 nuclear deal, which removed international economic sanctions on Tehran. The Republicans in the US Congress have never accepted that deal and have tried to spike it by keeping US sanctions on Iran and, mafia-like, threatening third parties who trade with Iran. But the world increasingly just doesn’t care. Denmark and Iran did $320 mn. in trade last year and that is small potatoes compared to what the rest of Europe has in mind.”
