The War Economy is the water in which we swim. It feels like an inevitable and immovable part of the way our culture and communities are structured. But is that true? Is the War Economy inevitable? And is change to the Peace Economy even possible, given how hard the billionaires and corporations are fighting to preserve the toxic status quo?
Big, transformative change happens quickly, and sometimes so thoroughly remakes the world, human relationships to their communities and culture are unrecognizable from what existed before. It has happened many times in the past, and will happen many times again in the future. How can we be part of transformative change? How do we envision and bring about the imperative realignment that the Peace Economy promises?
