By cancelling her show in Apartheid Israel, Lorde’s took a principled stand to support human rights. She did so as a result of learning from activist-fans about Israel's human rights abuses against Palestinians. Boycotts are a time-honored nonviolent tactic in the tradition of the US civil right movement and the South African anti-apartheid movement. Laws such as the one in Florida, outlawing the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement, are being challenged across the U.S. for violating the First Amendment.

Representative Randy Fine is using Florida’s anti-BDS law to demand Lorde's upcoming show in Florida canceled. Help us tell Rep. Fine to back off! Florida's laws should be in line with the constitution and Lorde should not be bullied.
