Los Angeles: January 25 International Day of Action for Peace With Iran

The conflict with Iran is by no means over. The people of Iran are still suffering from brutal sanctions that are a form of economic warfare—and Trump just added NEW sanctions. He is also sending more troops to the Middle East, which will only create more enemies. The fallout from the assassination of General Soleimani is not over, and Trump may well ratchet up the confrontation with another reckless attack.

That’s why, on Saturday, January 25, in cities across the US and the globe, CODEPINK is calling on the world to join us for protests against a war with Iran, deadly economic sanctions, and the buildup of troops in the Middle East. We'll need everyone in the streets to call on the Trump Administration to reverse their maximum pressure campaign on Iran and demand that the United States re-enters the Iran nuclear deal.

Make sure you use our activist toolkit to print posters, bring chants, and carry our No War With Iran petition with you to the rally!

The rally will include speeches and important calls to action from:

Ehsan Zahedani (NIAC)

Juliet Annerino (writer at Antiwar.com)

A special training by Doreen Kutzke, a German performance artist who will teach us how to raise our voice for peace
