LA Activist Intern

CODEPINK is looking for an intern to join our team in Los Angeles!

Strengthen your skill set in creating change both locally and globally, gain experience in strategic campaigning, and create actions, visuals, outreach, and engagement to bring an end to war and bring the money home to meet the needs of our communities.

The ideal candidate possesses strong writing and communication skills, a passion for social justice work & ending war, and the ability to work well both independently and with a team. Previous experience in a non-profit organization is a plus.

Your tasks may include:

  • Office work: phone banking, data entry, updating/editing website, tidying up, participating in national staff conference calls, etc.
  • Creating: posters, fliers, signs, visuals, etc. Using artistic abilities for activism is always needed!
  • Research/Writing: research, writing posts, helping with editing.
  • On the streets: attend meetings, rallies, demonstrations, press conferences, and more!
