The US State Department has approved over 40 weapons deals brokered by the Obama Administration with the Saudi Monarchy, worth over $110 billion dollars. These weapons have been used in Saudi Arabia’s ongoing illegal bombing raids in Yemen, which have killed more than 6,000 innocent civilians (so far). There is a growing chorus of people opposing Saudi Arabia war crimes in Yemen.
The United States should not be complicit in human rights abuses committed by the Saudi government. We, the undersigned, call on John Kerry and all the US State Department to halt all weapons sales to Saudi Arabia immediately!
