Greg Abbott continues to escalate his racist war against immigrant communities by cracking down on all cities who refuse to comply with his demands. Just last month, Abbott threatened to withhold $200 million in funding from Austin, Dallas and Houston for passing progressive, pro-immigrant policies.
Texas is home to roughly 5 million immigrants – almost 20% of our entire population. And at the same time, our state leads the nation in ICE detentions. Immigrants make Texas run, and forcing our families and neighbors to live in fear of deportation is unacceptable…so come out and raise your voice!
