Gabriel Shipton: Gabriel Shipton is a film producer and the brother of WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange. His feature-length documentary entitled Ithaka, premiered at the Sydney Film Festival and opened for general release in January 2022. It follows the work of his father, John Shipton, fighting for Julian’s release.
John Kiriakou: Kiriakou is a former CIA officer, former senior investigator for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and former counterterrorism consultant for ABC News. In 2007, Kiriakou blew the whistle on the CIA’s torture program, telling ABC News that the CIA tortured prisoners, that torture was official U.S. government policy, and that the policy had been approved by then-President George W. Bush. He became the sixth whistleblower indicted by the Obama administration under the Espionage Act — a law designed to punish spies. He served 23 months in prison as a result of the revelation.
Jesselyn Radack: Jesselyn is an American national security and human rights attorney known for her defense of whistleblowers, journalists, and hacktivists, including Daniel Hale. She graduated from Brown University and Yale Law School and began her career as an Honors Program attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice.
