On June 8th, 2025, CODEPINK Bay Area will join Interfaith4Ceasefire to walk in public witness for the Palestinian Right of Return to their homes and families. We also walk to affirm the human right to remain, return, and migrate. We will walk several of the 22 mile pilgrimage—from Alameda to Berkeley— journeying in prayer and solidarity with the right to return, symbolizing the distance from Rafah to Gaza City. This effort is part of the global movement of Gaza Ceasefire Pilgrimages that began last year and continues on.

Leg 1 - 7am (Alameda - Fruitvale Bart, 3.3 miles); Leg 2 - 9am (Fruitvale - Islamic Cultural Center, 3.6 miles); *Leg 3 - 11:30am (ICCNC - Uptown Fender, 3.3 miles); Leg 4 - 1:30pm (Uptown Fender - Heart & Soul Center of Light, 2.2 miles); Leg 5 - 3pm (Heart & Soul - UC Berkeley, 2.1 miles); *Leg 6 - 4:30pm (UC Berkeley - W Berkeley Shellmound, 2.9 miles)
Leg 7 - 6:30pm (Shellmounds - Berkeley Marina, 4.6 miles)
CODEPINK Bay Area will be joining the pilgrimage at 3pm at Heart and Soul, 5811 Racine St, Oakland. You may join the Pilgrimage at any leg of the 22-mile journey from Alameda to the West Berkeley Shellmound.
