Cut US Ties to Saudi Arabia: Weekly Demonstration for Human Rights

Join us EVERY TUESDAY from 3:30-4:30pm for an hour-long demonstration to demand that the US end the alliance with Saudi Arabia!

The U.S. has spent billions of dollars in the last four decades backing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, an absolute monarchy that opposes religious freedom, female equality and humane treatment of migrant workers. In January 2016 alone, the Saudi government beheaded 47 people, some of whom were guilty of such “crimes” as political activism. Between March 2015-2016, Saudi Arabia massacred over 6,000 people in a war of aggression against Yemen, and at least half of them were civilians.

CODEPINK has held weekly demonstrations calling for the release of human rights prisoners - namely, three Saudi teens who have been imprisoned and face execution for their peaceful political dissent.

It’s time for the US to reevaluate the toxic relationship with Saudi Arabia!
