Tell Biden: Call for Negotiations in Ukraine Now!
On March 18th, we are calling on the world to end wars. We are asking our global community who wants peace to sign our petition to President Biden calling on him to stop stoking war with Russia and China and to push for a diplomatic solution to the war in Ukraine. Endlessly fueling the war only puts more people at risk. 20 years ago on March 18th, we saw the U.S.-invasion of Iraq- this year we will see a major set of actions taking place across the country demanding "Peace in Ukraine – Say NO to Endless U.S. Wars”, “Fund People's Needs, Not the War Machine”, "No to war with China" and more!
We call on everyone to share this petition with 3 people you know to help get as many signatures as possible, but also to raise up the message of diplomacy and negotiations in a time where diplomatic solutions to war are shrugged off. The people and the planet cannot afford a nuclear war. Sign below!
Dear President Biden,
People around the world, call on you to encourage peace talks in Ukraine and commit to collaboration with China to address the world's toughest problems instead of further stoking wars against China and Russia.
We condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We condemn NATO's provocation that has played a major role in exacerbating this conflict, facilitating a 2014 coup to overthrow the democratically elected leader of Ukraine and breaking promises not to expand NATO into Eastern Europe, where offensive missiles in Romania and Poland could reach Russia in minutes.
We recognize that there is no military solution in Ukraine. If you truly care about stopping the slaughter of innocent civilians, you would stop prolonging the war with continued shipments of weapons and make a serious push for negotiations. War exacerbates issues of domestic violence, assault, and other harms against women. We implore you to call for a ceasefire immediately.
In regards to China, we call on you to build cooperation instead of competition. Our biggest common threat is climate change, and China and the United States could begin to truly address the issue and begin to find solutions together. In order to save our planet from destruction, the United States of America must embrace a multipolar world by stopping aggression towards China. For the safety of the people, our children, and loved ones, we cannot risk a war between our two countries.
Sincerely,
-
Andrew Liberman signed Tell Biden & Blinken: No More Military Aid to Azerbaijan! 2022-09-23 13:40:49 -0400
Tell Biden & Blinken: No More Military Aid to Azerbaijan!
Dear President Biden and Secretary Blinken,
We, the undersigned, are demanding the U.S. halt all military aid to Azerbaijan and weapons sales all together. In 2020, the United States provided over $4 million in support to the Azeri military, in the following years Azerbaijan would go on to attack Armenia and Artsakh.
Recent attacks on Armenia by Azerbaijan could lead to a new, all out war when the war in Ukraine has not slowed down even slightly. On October 2, the ceasefire in Yemen expires and Saudi Arabia can continue its blatant attacks on Yemeni civilians with weaponry sent to them by the United States. The people and the planet cannot afford another war on Armenia.
Weapons sales and military aid send by the United States anywhere prolongs conflict and human suffering by pouring more fuel into the fire. To move forward we need to proceed with diplomacy in Armenia, Ukraine, and Yemen. The United States arming conflicts all over the world will only produce more animosity and more conflict. Diplomacy is a long-term solution that would prevent further disasters to humanity and to the planet.
We demand a permanent suspension of military aid to Azerbaijan and for the United States to rethink its policy of fueling conflict all over the world by endlessly sending weapons and military aid.

Andrew Liberman signed Tell Biden to help Ukraine by engaging in negotiations, not military escalation 2022-03-11 14:30:12 -0500
Tell Biden to help Ukraine by engaging in negotiations, not military escalation
As Biden is in Europe, tell him to reject military escalation.
A no-fly zone would mean U.S. fighter jets shooting down Russian planes, which means a U.S.-Russia war—possibly a nuclear one. Likewise, transferring Polish fighter jets or sending in a NATO peacekeeping (aka boots on the ground) mission would escalate the war to WWIII.
Encourage Biden to support Ukraine by contributing to negotiations, not military escalation.
*After you sign, you will be directed to contact Congress, to tell them to oppose a no-fly zone.
Dear President Biden,
As you attend NATO and G7 meetings and travel to Poland this week, we, the undersigned, ask you to stay firm in opposing the transfer of Polish MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine and the imposition of a no-fly zone. We ask you to offer support to Ukraine in the form of serious and vigorous negotiations, not military escalations.
You rightfully nixed the plan to transfer Polish MiG-29 jets upon realizing that this would be a dangerous escalation as Russia would see it as the U.S. as joining the active combat in Ukraine. We are aware that pressure is mounting on you from Poland and from members of Congress to reverse this decision and we appeal to you not to.
As the transfer of fighter jets, the imposition of a no-fly zone would be a dangerous escalation. It would mean the U.S. Air Force would essentially become part of the Ukrainian military and would become directly involved in the war with Russia. As Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said, we must seek to “end this war in Ukraine, not start a larger one.”
Poland has said that during the NATO summit they will formally propose a NATO peacekeeping mission in Ukraine — another dangerous escalation. The Kremlin responded to this by calling it "reckless" and warning that could easily lead to a direct clash between Russian and NATO forces. We ask you not to support Poland’s proposal and, when you are in Poland, to encourage their government to support negotiations rather than increased NATO involvement in the war.
We know that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is pleading for a no-fly zone, fighter jets, and NATO entry into the war. While we are absolutely horrified by Russia’s invasion, we know that the best and only peaceful way to support Ukraine and stop more lives from being lost is to have the U.S. engage in the Ukraine-Russia negotiations by expressing support for Ukraine being a neutral country, providing an off-ramp for sanctions, and opposing any further expansion eastward of NATO
We need a ceasefire urgently and ask you to help accomplish that.
