Trita Parsi, an award-winning author, is the co-founder and executive vice president of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, as well as the founder and former president of the National Iranian American Council.

Negar Mortazavi is an Iranian-American journalist and political analyst covering Iran in English and Persian. She is a columnist for The Independent and host of the Iran Podcast.

Following our guests’ presentations and Q & A, we will host our Capitol Hill Calling Party to urge our reps to promote a return to the Iran nuclear agreement (JCPOA), lift the sanctions that have been so harmful to the Iranian people, and promote broader discussions with Iran to solve the many conflicts in the region.
