Last weekend, over 60 fundraising dinner parties were planned for Bradley Manning, the accused WikiLeaks whistle-blower around the world. Priti and Stan Cox and David and Janice Norlin of Salina, together hosted one such party, and it was a huge success. We had over 20 people attend the dinner from all over Kansas. Some even came all the way from Kansas City, which is a three-hour drive. A great start for a fresh CODEPINK chapter! Now with Bradley's pre-trial hearing date announcement just around the corner, we anticipate many more actions supporting CODEPINK's efforts in helping ensure that Bradley's trial is fair and open to the public.
