August 11-21: Uruguay
Uruguay/Argentina August 11-21 with Monday the 11th being a travel day arriving into Montevideo and Thursday the 21st departing from Buenos Aires.

Under the leadership of President Jose “Pepe” Mujica, a former revolutionary guerrilla, Uruguay has legalized marijuana, now honors same-sex marriage and abortion rights; and in exchange for the remaining Cuban Five, he has offered sanctuary to Guantanamo prisoners.
Join trip leader Andres Conteris of Non-Violence International and CODEPINK founder Medea Benjamín in exploring those advances in Uruguay and getting an update on Argentina as well.
