Thanks to every member of Congress who signaled support for Issa Amro as he faces an Israeli military court as a consequence of his human rights works. Your support is a welcome and rare note of sanity and decency coming out of the US in these days of Trump. What happened? How did you end up with a man-child as President? Principled support for justice for Palestinians does keep alive the notion that the US just may be able to have a leadership role – apart from all the bombing stuff – internationally.

The greatest Human Rights crime of the last 70 years is the ongoing ethnic cleansing and destruction of Palestine by the Zionists, with the help of Carte Blanche support from the US Congress. This action of standing up for Issa represents a long overdue call to sanity and reason. The level of support the US gives the #1 Human Rights offender in the world, Israel, is truly criminal and must end. Israel operates outside the realm of International Law and it is time the rest of the nations of the world, especially the US, ends its support for this rogue and oppressive regime.
