Dear Activist,
How can we move from a war economy to a peace economy? At CODEPINK we believe the answer includes community.
To help nourish the seeds of our vision CODEPINK just launched a campaign that will help us grow a Local Peace Economy. The war economy is killing our planet and us. It is time to build peace from the ground up, and it starts locally with you!
Chef Loghan Call, of Planted Cuisine and permaculture expert Lauren Tucker, of Kiss the Ground are partnering with us to create an exciting evening that we call Dirt-to-Dinner.
Dirt-to-Dinner will connect you with the Earth while inspiring creativity and innovation.
Lauren Tucker, will be leading a hands-on workshop, which will teach you how to install a home garden as well as how to easily make home compost. You will have a chance to individually work on the CODEPINK garden, and will leave with your own potted garden plant and seed kit!
After a joyful day of working on the garden we will be nourished with a seasonal, organic vegan meal prepared by of Chef Call.
Dinner will be enjoyed in the beauty of the CODEPINK garden and will include discussion of the Local Peace Economy.
Come make memories and connect to those around you and the ground below you.
