Join us in New York City on Mother's Day, May 14th, to create 21,600 lbs of LOVE and say No to war!
Instead of firing Tomahawk missiles into Syria and dropping the 'Mother of all Bombs' in Afghanistan, we need education, health care, green jobs, and humanitarian aid. So this Mother's Day we will join the Granny Peace Brigade to march for life and love and to say No to Trump's proposed $54 billion increase in military spending.
Join us to celebrate the nurturing essence of motherhood and take action to build a local peace economy. In the words of Julia Ward Howe who put out the first call for a Mother Day: "From the bosom of the devastated earth a voice goes up with our own. It says, 'Disarm, disarm!'"
Rude Mechanical Orchestra to provide instrumental music and will ask the Raging Grannies for songs. We will have Mothers' Day Cards to distribute as usual.
