If you are here, you probably have some interest in mindfulness. Whether you're a newbie or a dedicated practitioner, we're glad you made it.
Mindfulness is a pretty simple concept: it’s about bringing our attention fully into the present moment, and observing our thoughts and feelings non-judgmentally as they arise.
We view mindfulness as an indispensable tool for transformative social change. How? It helps us engage with the world from a place of freedom and peace instead of judgement and anger. It helps us reconnect with our bodies and with the Earth and live fully in the now, instead of dwelling in a never-ending stream of anxious thoughts. It helps us love each other and ourselves better.
But how do we actually do this? We decided to launch 21 Days of Mindfulness to give you support and concrete practices to experience this process yourself. From mindful eating to active listening, you’ll get a whole range of simple, practical ways to live in the now. It takes 21 days to form a habit, so we’ll be sending you an email every morning from February 8th–28th with a different concept and practice to do. This won’t take up much of your day, and even a little bit of time spent practicing can make a huge impact in your life.
Here’s what’s up:
- If you sign up, you agree to really commit to not only reading these emails every day, but actually taking the (very small amount of) time to do the practices! You only get what you put in.
- This journey will be a lot more fun if you do it with someone else, so if you can, grab a friend to sign up too - you can be each other’s accountabilibuddies.
- We created a Facebook group for you to share your experiences with others, ask questions, give feedback, and post pictures of Tardigrades. Just kidding, don’t do that. But definitely join the group if you’re into the whole social media thing.
Sound good? Sign up here by Wednesday, February 7th!
