Martha Durkee-Neuman

She studies Human Services and International Affairs with concentrations in Latin America and Healthcare Development. She is affiliated with the Sexual Assault Response Campaign and Sexual Health Advocacy, Resources, and Education at Northeastern. She is also president and co-founder of the NU Unitarian Universalists and a student delegate to the NU Interfaith Counsel.

Martha is passionate about reproductive justice, sexual violence prevention, gun violence prevention, demilitarization/arms de-escalation, and the justice organizing around these issues. In Boston, she has worked for the Renewal House Domestic Violence Shelter and now works for Crossroads Family Shelter as a family advocate. She has also held positions with Peer Health Exchange as a health educator and the Social Impact Lab as an intern.

She is recently returned from Shillong, India where she was an intern with the Unitarian Universalist College of Social Justice at the Annie Margaret Barr Children's Village holding sexual education workshops with youths and young adults, and helping organize for against child labor.
