For our December Local Peace Economy gathering, CODEPINK's own Paula Kahn will lead a presentation about Decolonizing Organizing. Colonialism facilitated the development of the war economy. It is crucial that we examine our own place in upholding systems of oppression if we are to move from this violent war economy to one of peace and justice. In this transition, we have to shift away from 'allies' to becoming 'accomplices.' Paula will explain how we can better support targeted populations, and decolonize our hearts, minds & bodies. We will employ our agency to heal ourselves as we move into 2018 and beyond!
