Bikes, Safe Streets, Not War
Saturday, June 2nd 2012  2 PM
Toronto, ON

Ontario needs more bike lanes and more streets with 30K/hour speed limits. Studies show that when either bike lanes or lower speed limits are added, cyclist and pedestrian mortality declines exponentially. This also applies to roller bladers, skate boarders, electric cyclists, and anyone on two wheels. Please come out to ask Premier Dalton McGuinty: More roads with bike lanes and 30K speed limits!

There will be an Ontario-wide day of cycling, as well as pedestrian walking for safer streets, and more bike lanes. Join CODEPINK on this ride to say: More Bikes, More Walking, No War!

Pedestrians: meet at Christie Pits; East End folks meet at a location TBA; West End folks will meet at High Park. CODEPINK will meet at the High Park meeting point.
