Berkeley Fundraiser Gaza Freedom Flotilla

Col. Ann Wright (Ret.) on “2018 Gaza Freedom Flotilla, BDS and Banned From Israel”
The people of Gaza have suffered long enough. Ann Wright comes to Berkeley to raise awareness and funds for the 2018 Gaza Freedom Flotilla, sailing this summer with hope and courage to challenge Israel’s blockade of Gaza. Ann is a retired US Army colonel who resigned  from the US government in 2003 in opposition to the war in Iraq. She has sailed on 3 Gaza flotillas, including the most recent 2016.  Ann will give an update on the deterioration conditions in the West Bank and Gaza, the worldwide BDS campaign, and the recent Israeli ban of Codepink, Jewish Voice for Peace, & other groups.
The event will include refreshments, music and book signing. Join us as we celebrate the power of nonviolence and resolve of peacemakers to help the people of Gaza.
All are welcome.
Donation $5-$100 (no one turned away lack of funds)
